Mrs. Anderson has been married to her husband, Troy for over 30 years. Together they have nine children and two grandchildren. She and her husband homeschooled their first five children almost exclusively through graduation and now have the remaining four attending Knox Academy. Along with several other couples Mrs. Anderson and her husband helped found a Christian Community school in NE Washington and taught beginning reading at that school for two years. She has also taught phonics, reading and writing at several homeschool co-ops and in tutoring settings. Initially taught under Wanda Sanseri, author of the Spell to Write and Read curriculum, Mrs. Anderson is especially zealous to see children receive a solid foundation in the art of reading and writing. She loves seeing her students thrive in the classroom, setting the stage for a lifetime of learning.
