Worshipping Together

The fourth commandment (Exodus 20:8) tells us to remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy. Hebrews 12:24-25 instructs Christians to "spur one another on toward love and good deeds" and to "not neglect meeting together, as some have made a habit, but let us encourage one another".

Sunday morning fellowship is essential in the life of believers. Just as a student matures under the faithful training of a teacher, so each disciple of Christ should consider their own growth and seek to be of greater use in Christ's kingdom. (Ephesians 4:11-13). At Knox, we want to encourage each family to be in regular fellowship with a local church gathering as an act of obedience to Scripture and in faith that God will meet us there (Psalms 73:17, Heb. 13:15, Matthew 18:20). God is actively working through His church (Matt. 16:18).

Every so often, Knox students have the opportunity to represent the school while worshiping together at a local church. While we don't want to draw families out of fellowship with other local gatherings to which you may be committed, we do want to encourage those who are able to come together. We want to encourage the body of Christ in the Rogue Valley. Please let our office know if you want to connect the Knox students to a local congregation. We will be happy to worship with you!

May you be blessed this weekend with wonderful fellowship with Christ and His church!
